The health routine that worked when you built it will drift if you don’t watch it.
Not dramatically. Gradually. The walk gets shorter. The sleep window shrinks by twenty minutes and then thirty. The meal that used to be real food becomes convenient food because the week got busy. None of these feel like decisions. They feel like adjustments.
But adjustments compound too — in the wrong direction.
I check in on my physical routine the same way I check in on the business — not to overhaul it, but to see it clearly. What’s actually happening versus what I think is happening? Where has drift set in without me noticing?
The honest answer is usually that something has slipped. Not collapsed — slipped. And slipped things are easy to correct if you catch them early. They’re hard to correct if you let them become the new normal.
This week, look at your health routine with fresh eyes. Not to redesign it — to audit it. What are you actually doing versus what you said you were doing? Where has convenience replaced intention?
Pull it back. Before the drift becomes the standard.
The Takeaway
Health routines drift gradually — audit yours this week and pull back anything that’s slipped before it becomes the new normal.
Keep Moving Forward!
